Why stage your property?
Selling homes means I get an insight into people’s interior style, and in to what interiors attract potential buyers.
I really enjoy seeing how people have made these properties home, and what their homes say about them. There are many interiors enthusiasts in the city I call home, so I’m spoilt with the amount of great design I see!
Having renovated my own home I also enjoy seeing the bigger projects people have undertaken and how they can transform a house into a home that works best for them.
It is for these reasons I am passionate about the benefits of home staging, preparing a house for sale and showing it in it’s best light gives it the best chance of finding the best possible buyer.
Staging works.
Staging your property ready for sale allows potential buyers to imagine themselves living in the space. A beautifully-styled home will encourage emotional connection, and demonstrates the property is ready to move in to, putting potential buyers at ease and making them feel comfortable.
A report from the Home Staging Association in 2021 showed “60% of agents agree that a staged property increased the property value compared to a non-staged one, and 67 per cent of agents agreed a staged property sold faster than a non-staged one.”
“I hadn’t really thought of having my house staged but I’m really pleased I did. The house looked beautiful afterwards and was transformed. Ester and her team were professional and efficient I would highly recommend.”
Selling an empty property?
If a property is empty it can be really hard to get a sense of space and proportions, and for a potential buyer to be able to imagine their life in that space. Staging not only creates more inspiring photography enticing potential buyers to request to view, but also helps potential buyers connect with a space whilst viewing.
